I checked to see if windows was recognizing button inputs by going into Devices and Printers and checking the inputs there. Now I can't even get the software to recognize my device even after uninstalling and reinstalling, closing the setup instead of running the Driver Installer, doing a clean wipe, THEN running the Driver Installer. I'm going to try something and let everyone know if it works or not. Yeah, I made sure it was plugged in, and clicked on the device I wanted to install the drivers for, aswell as trying the force install box, and still nothing. If you're on windows 7, its necessary to install the 360 accessories software too since the drivers in windows 7 are older and unstable. run the setup and tick the "ds3", "configure service", etc and then install.
